Each SERVIR hub is led by a locally-based institution with strong relationships to the countries and stakeholders in their region. The structure of a hub is designed to meet its contextual needs; for example some hubs include a consortium of partners. While there isn’t a single model for a hub’s structure, each of the hubs host a locally led team of experts in geospatial science, environmental issues, and community engagement. At its core, SERVIR works to strengthen the capacity of people and institutions at each hub and within each country served.

Our Partners

The SERVIR Global Collaborative thrives on the strength of its partnerships. Our independent regional hubs work with a diverse network of collaborators, spanning private sector innovators, intergovernmental organizations, government agencies, universities, research institutes, and non-governmental organizations. Together, we co-create solutions, conduct joint research, and build capacity with specialized groups around the world. These partnerships connect local expertise with global resources, ensuring that Earth observation and geospatial science deliver meaningful, lasting impact for communities and ecosystems.
